Thanks for posting these pictures from the show. I have been enjoying them and your humor of course.
ReplyDeleteOH keep them coming...I love to go to the show, virtually, though pictures!!! Striking designs!
ReplyDeleteFabulous photos in these posts -- but I have to say I'm a bid sad that almost all of the quilts feature such over-the-top intense quilting. So far beyond what most mere mortals can accomplish - not sure if it is inspiring or discouraging. (IMHO)
ReplyDeleteTotally not tired of seeing these images.
ReplyDeleteI have to agree with Quiltdivajulie ^ I don't know how to react to the displays of uber quilting. While awe inspiring, it kind of makes me sad too.
I tend to see quilts as more whimsical and wonderful, the wrinkly/irony being more my style. The abstract art quilts I create are more a focus on fabric than quilting.
thanks you for taking the time to do all this, they are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThese quilts are incredible. It's hard to believe the talent that some stitchers have. All that I can say is that I would not want one of them we see my beautiful quilts (at least my family thinks they are beautiful) LOL. After seeing these I'm not so sure.
ReplyDeleteI am your newest follower and want to invite you to visit my blog as well. I won't do much quilting until the garden is put to bed, but I finished my canning yesterday and now I'm ready to go out to the barn and organize a bit to ready myself for the quilting season :) That's my new name for late fall and winter . . . doesn't it sound better?
Happy to meet you.
Connie :)
You always have the best quilt show pictures.
