These blocks finish at only 6 inches. I now have 7 of 12 finished. They are for a Christmas gift, so I really need to step up the game a bit, don't I...after all, this is only for ONE gift. How is everyone else doing with the promise of "starting earlier NEXT year!" for the holidays?
These are so fun to work on...small enough to be in a little "to go"container upstairs, just waiting for me to get too freaked out by the basement "in-process" chaos and run screaming for its calming contents.
I don't call this blog Fabric THERAPY for nothin'!
This one is my favorite...I have always loved orange and blue together...maybe because Auburn is my university Alma Mater, and those are the school colors. I decorated cakes to help get through college...I wish I had a dime for every time I drew an "Aubie" the tiger on a sheet cake, using orange and blue frosting on a satin white, buttercream surface.
Lovely fabric is MUCH nicer...and CLEANER...to work with (and less calories...).
In stitches,
Teresa :o)
Those blocks are just adorable. A perfect tonic for the chaos of life!
