Thoughts for Friday...

I've been humming the theme song to the movie "Deliverance" all week...go figure...

I'm not sure this is the final draft for the banjo...I need to sleep on it (just like this ol' hound dog...zzzzz).  I'm trying to finalize the Baltimore Rhapsody blocks for the banjo, guitar, mandolin, and dulcimer.

I want to do kudzu vine for one of them, since it grows all over the south (and the vine has the prettiest, most unusual flower).  I'm not so sure that kudzu fits the Baltimore album style mold, though...or a hound dog, for that matter...

In stitches,
Teresa  :o)

  1. you know I have never noticed a flower on the kudzu vine - I just know most of us in the south consider the vine an bothersome plant and wish we could get rid of it!

  3. Hey there busy busy girlfriend!! I wanted to congratulate you on ALL your new WONDERFUL quilty endeavors! Your musical patterns and quilt are.....well......MUSICAL!!!! Cheering you on for GREAT
    success!!

p.s. I have become quite prolific using your 'glue the edges' down on my appliqué pieces......that is until I opened up a new package of glue sticks. WHAT THE...??? The glueing process is not the same now. What happened?? I have opened up numerous sticks and the have the same results. The glue does not seem the same. It is not as 'soupy' and dries at the blink of an eye and will not stick down with just a tap like I was used to doing as I worked the pleats and puckers like the past 3 sticks I have used up. I have to REALLY work at it now to get it to stay stuck....???
What say you? Notice any problems on your end???
Have you noticed any changes in the Elmers glue sticks????
