Hi friends,
Don't you LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Moda fabrics??? Barbara Brackman, 3 Sisters, French General, April Cornell, Simpson/Minick, Erin Michael, Blackbird Designs, Holly Taylor, Laundry Basket, Fig Tree, Anne Sutton/Bunny Hill, Kansas Troubles, Brannock and Patek, Spain, Gervais...
I love all fabric, but the Moda is so consistently lucious and has such a nice hand.
Well, a few days ago, "Moda Mark" buzzed into the store where I work part time and spread a little Moda magic (Mark Pytel, Moda sales rep for our midwestern area). He had some lovelies to show us and came bearing gifts. He left me a little something to offer you as a give-away. Bless him.
See this beautiful little painted, hinged tin box??

Leave a comment before midnight, Saturday, July 23 and tell me your favorite Moda designer. I will announce the winner Monday morning, July 25, drawn by the random number generator.
(I am not a paid spokesman for Moda...just really love this fabric and appreciate "Moda Mark" giving me a little something to share with you!)
In stitches,
Teresa :o)
Please count me in! I love the tin and I love that it contains fabric! There are so many designers that I love from Moda..please don't make me choose :o) Though that said I do like the fabrics by Bonnie and Camille :o)
ReplyDeleteHow generous! If I have to pick a designer it would be..........ohh....ummm....French General. Love the warm reds they use.
ReplyDeleteMust I choose? I like them all. I have a lot of French General FQ so.... I choose this one1
ReplyDeletehave a nice day,
Marijke
Oooh, I *love* hinged boxes! All the better for starting a new project (and holding the pieces, along with pattern parts & thread & needles, etc). My favorite would have to be Barbara Brackman. LOVE 1800s repros!
ReplyDeleteVery hard choice, but I will go with Fig Tree. Super cute tin!
ReplyDeleteThat is the most cutest tin I have seen and the fabrics yummy, if I have to choose, I would say Fig Tree.
ReplyDeleteI do love them all and always know that Moda comes up with wonderful fabrics.
My little Grand daughter Sophie ( just turned 4 ) loves fabrics and would adore the tin. She creates with me in my sewing room.
Thank you for the chance to win this.
happy stitching
Christine
I have recently used Moda fabric for the first time and I have fallen in love with it. Right now I am making several quilts using a Sunkissed Jelly Roll and matching fabric. Can't wait until they are done. I don't know if I have a favorite designer yet, I am still discovering. (I really love the colors in Sunkissed.)
ReplyDeleteThank you Teresa and Moda Mark!
Modas are always such a joy to work with, as you said a lovely hand to them. I'm not one to pay attention to designer names as my tastes varry and am mostly an impulse buyer but it's usually the first section I hit :0) Thank Mark for such a great giveaway!!
ReplyDeleteCrispy
I am drawn to the me and my sister designs. Nice of Mark to give you a giveaway!
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat giveaway! I love Moda's 3 Sisters collections. Thanks for hosting this.
ReplyDeleteI also have many Moda designer favorites but the one I've brought the most ranges of is Fig Tree . Thank you for the great chance to win.
ReplyDeleteI love 3 Sisters. I really like the Collections for a Cause by Howard Marcus. They have had special meaning to me. I have been working with "HOPE", as a dear friend has ALS, and I made a picture quilt using this collection. It turned out wonderful!! Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHappily using Laundry Basket right now....
ReplyDeleteThat's a tough question, really. They are all up there on my list.....maybe French General a tad higher.
ReplyDeleteThx for the cute giveaway.
Choose ONE? I love so many of the designers' work. I guess 3 Sisters is my very very favorite though. Thank you for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteYes I do love Moda fabrics and I love all the designers....I've probably bought fabric from every designer over the years.....wishing I could have just one favorite, I'd have more money in my pocket. Right now...today...I would say Bonnie and Camile....but I really really like the gray in Anne Sutton's 'Puttin on the Ritz' and Edyta Sitar's Laundry Basket fabrics....thank you Teresa and Moda Mark....(:
ReplyDeleteWow That's a hard choice. I think my favorite would be Jan Patek but then again maybe it's Minnick and Simpson. It's hard to choose just one.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite right now is Sentimental Studios.
ReplyDeleteI love tins, and am clearly addicited to fabric, so you've found the perfect combination! I like anything (and everything), but I will say French General or 3 Sisters. Thanks for the opportunity and thanks to Moda Mark!
ReplyDeleteOh my...well the tin I would enjoy...and my fav would have to be cabbage and roses..

I've never been one to pay lots of attention to a particular fabric manufacturer, but lately I've been smitten with Moda, too!! In fact, just last week I bought four layer cakes. I think Fig Tree is wonderful stuff.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely give-away. I like Barbara brackman and American Jane.
ReplyDeleteHow nice of Mark, how lucky for us. I don't think I have a favorite. Every time I think I find one that's my favorite, yet another new line comes out that I love. Lather, rinse and repeat, and repeat and repeat......
ReplyDeleteI like a lot of the designers, but I've bought the most from Barbara Brackman's lines.
ReplyDeleteSo hard to choose just one :-) French General and Fig Tree are both at the top of my list....maybe Fig Tree wins out this week. Such beautiful summer fabrics. Thank you and Mark! for the chance to win this sweet little box with the candy bars in it. What a special treat!
ReplyDeletecute cute....Just found your blog and already following it. Love Moda and that hinged box is darling1
ReplyDeleteOh a favorite.. ugh I don't know I do love the soft colors of Fig Tree though.. so today I will pick that one.. ask me tomorrow, and I will be in love with another one.. that is why I'm addicted to fabric..
ReplyDeleteHow cute! I am having a hard time choosing a favorite! I love Fig Tree, and Minick & Simpson, and Sandy Gervais, and French General... but right this moment 3 Sisters has my attention! LOL Thanks for the fun!
ReplyDeleteOh -- definitely Three Sisters -- no, wait, maybe it's April Cornell. But then again ....
ReplyDeleteI just can't choose. If I find any Moda on a sale shelf, I'm doomed and I have become a huge fan of their solids at any price. I'm sure there is a 12 step program for it but I don't want any part of it!
Jan at iquiltforfun.blogspot.com
Sunkissed by Sweetwater is my favorite line, but I don't knoe the designers name inless it is sweetwater!
ReplyDeleteThat was sweet of him! I LOVE Kate Spain (but Sandy Gervais is a VERY close second!). Thanks for thinking of us!
ReplyDeleteThat is such a hard question! I can't pick just one! It's got to be somewhere between French General, 3 Sisters and BasicGrey .... but Sweatwater ..... sorry, just can't pick one alone lol

ReplyDeleteIt is hard for me to pick just one, but I am always drawn to Kansas Troubles. Great giveaway. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteYou're right: Moda fabrics are the best! I can't begin to pick my favorite, but that said, I do have a ton of French General in my stash! I am in the process of working on two quilts using their fabric, with ideas for a few more in the works. Thanks to FG, I've become "all about the red!" Thanks for the chance to win!

ReplyDeleteI have to be honest, I love all Moda fabrics and designers but i'm going to choose 3 Sisters and Minimick/Simpson.
ReplyDeletePlease count me in for the drawing...I love all Moda fabrics and those "candy bars" are zero calories! I'd have to say 3 Sisters might be my favorite, ask me tomorrow tho and I'd probably say Fig Tree. I'm fickle like that.
ReplyDeleteoh my gosh I just love that tin! Moda fabrics are wonderful, I love the feel of them and always can count on the quality . ReplyDeleteThe fabric from Kansas Troubles always makes me drool!
ReplyDeleteI don't like having to choose just one as like many more than that -- Kate Spain for now -
