I'm in Heaven...

Happiness is a hand quilting project with a new thimble!  Now if there were just a few more hours in the day that were mine, all MINE...sigh.

In stitches,

  1. dear teresa, your handquilting looks great,i am just handquilting my tumbler quilt that looked like my greatgrandmothers handbag, and thats a little difficult because i took a 2cm thick batting, because it should be as cosy as possible, but quilting that is not easy, wish you lots of time to quilt, hugs, susi

  2. I sure can relate to the shortage of time that is MINE :0) I'm glad you're enjoying your new thimble so much. I must scroll back to that post and take a closer look.

  4. Have fun quilting with your new thimble. I did some practice hand quilting on a mug rug - first time I'd hand quilted in ages. I really enjoyed it and want to baste something bigger to work on. I think it is relaxing. Hope you find lots of moments to work on your quilt.

  5. Hand work is SO relaxing! I have my new machine and I LOVE it.. but it isn't the same relaxation as hand stitching is. I will still always do hand stitching!! LOVE IT! And yours looks wonderful, I can't wait to see the finished product.

  10. Wish we could get together and sit and quilt. We could have the "mutual admiration society Club". "I love your thimble"...."I love your thimble"...."I love your quilting"..."I love your quilting"....pass the chocolate!
