That way you, um, have more fabric left for whatever follows.Ellenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09583048093531105764noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8547359357445201023.post-21384869533043898432011-01-06T05:17:51.314-06:002011-01-06T05:17:51.314-06:00A freakin fabric addict... That is going to be my ...A freakin fabric addict... That is going to be my new catch phrase! Your quilt is fabulous. I just love scrappy quilts too. Not that the preplanned ones are not very pretty, but there is something that speaks to my soul in scrappy quilts. Having a show stopper (like it would ever happen) is not at all appealing to me. I find a bigger reward in having someone I love wrapped up in my quilt and wearing it out. And if I remember right the origin of all this was necessity and they were made of bits and pieces of whatever you could get your hands on. Your quilt is B E A U T I F U L. I want to make a bowtie quilt now, but I am going to cheat and machine piece mine I am afraid! Thanks for inspiring me.Calicojoanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06796145323746252678noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8547359357445201023.post-90403004047491231572011-01-05T16:58:49.965-06:002011-01-05T16:58:49.965-06:00I love the scrappy bow ties and the way you quilte...I love the scrappy bow ties and the way you quilted them. It's funny how things that we think are going to take a long time can be finished up in a pretty short amount of time.
