It's MaryLiz.
I just got a faste...Hi, Theresa! It's MaryLiz.

I just got a faster internet connection, so I can visit blogs much more easily. I was in the habit of filing papers, or even working on hand applique while I waited for all the pictures to load.

This morning, I finally started the May block from the Bunny Hill BOM. (I brought it to Quilting Season.) These cute little blocks are real quick to make, so I think I can catch up if I don't stop to divert all my attention to a single project, as I did recently.

I want to finish "Christmas in July" before it's a misnomer. I took a lot of 4.5" squares out of the box at church -- all the Christmas fabrics. I figured out a way to use up every single one in a bargello arrangement, by adding a little of my own Christmas fabric. The piecing is a bit wonky, because the squares were cut at different times, by different hands, but it'll be a humble yet cozy little lap quilt when I'm done.

Later,

MaryLizAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
